Helping to raise funds for a new Scout Community Centre our Chair, Charles Elderton, successfully completed the 100km Tour de Bristol on Saturday 7 April.
Organised by Bristol based, St Peter’s Hospice, this charity bike ride started at the University of the West of England and headed out over the old Severn Bridge across to Wales towards Monmouth before returning through the Wye Valley via Tintern.
Charles said “This was a wet and tough ride with a couple of challenging hill climbs. I’m delighted I managed to raise some money to put towards our big fundraising project which has now reached a total of over £90,000”
