Local Residents support Scout Christmas Tree Sale

The 43rd Bristol Scout Group’s annual Christmas Tree Sale was held on Saturday 1 December. Gates opened at 8am and despite the heavy rain we welcomed over 200 local residents. Thank you to everyone who came along and bought a tree. It was great to see so many familiar faces and some new ones!

Hot drinks and bacon butties were available from our Cubbaccino Cafe. It was great to see so many people catching up with friends, neighbours and acquaintances. It’s what community is all about.

Our raffle was well supported with a number of lucky winners walking away with a hamper full of goodies.

A big thanks to all our volunteer helpers, especially our Scouts, who worked tirelessly netting up and carrying trees to cars.

All monies raised will be put towards our fundraising to replace our dilapidated Hut with a Scout Community Centre. If you would like to donate, please click here.
