It is with great pleasure I can share that Peter Gilbert had been recognised for his brilliant volunteering efforts by the Chief Scout, Bear Grylls.
Peter has been a valuable and much respected member of the group for over 20 years. He has seen many changes but he has never lost sight of the Scouting values we hold dear and try to pass on to our young people.
It is right that he is recognised for his selfless efforts.
This award come on top of the Long Service Awards and training awards from several other 43rd leaders recently.
I look forward to the time we can come together and celebrate everyone’s achievements together in person.
