Hike to Blaise Castle
The Beavers took advantage of the light nights this week by taking part in a hike to Blaise Castle. The evening was finished off with biscuits and a well deserved play on the playground.

The cubs were busy last week making festival floats as they learnt all about Mardi Gras festivals and parades as part of their World Challenge!!

Both Beaver colonies enjoyed separate visits to Southmead Fire Station this week to learn about fire safety and to enjoy a tour of the Fire Station. The 43rd Beaver Colonies hit the slopes at Mendip Activity Centre for a great afternoon of tobogganing. Even Horace ‘the sledge’ Beaver joined in and enjoyed the social event and chips! Many thanks to Hawk (Tim) for organising a great event.
