We are extremely grateful to the four staff members of BUPA UK Druid Stoke Care Home, who recently took part in a 5K sponsored run. The four staff members, Keyley, Charlie, Kayleigh and Kelcey ran up and down Druid Stoke Avenue. Between them they raised over £300 for the Group. What an amazing effort. … Read more
Last Saturday the volunteers at We Love Stoke Lodge organised a summer fete and fun run on Stoke Lodge. It was a great day and a chance to catch up with so many wonderful neighbours and local community members. Charles Elderton and Andy Judd, both Trustees, gave a talk about the history of the Group, the activities it runs and the sense of belonging it creates for the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. … Read more
A big thanks to all those local businesses who supported our raffle and well done to the lucky winners – we hope you enjoy your prizes. The raffle has added around £1100 to our hut fund so we are nearly at £365k raised to date, wow – getting closer to our £400k+ target!
We had a very full-on day handing out finisher medals and t-shirts to the 15,000 runners who took part. Our 20 volunteer adults and scouts worked tirelessly all day and did a fantastic job.
