The Scouts had some great underwater fun scuba diving. At the end they all received their PADI Discover Scuba Diving certificates. Big thanks to Hidden Depths Scuba School.
Josh’s Magic put on a crazy show for the Scouts. Afterwards, the Scouts did some of their own magic and we had a Scout forum which was very productive.
It was an interesting evening and we were able to learn about the workings of the store both on the shop floor and behind the scenes. The 43rd cubs had a fantastic night this week by putting on their own puppet shows in their sixes. They firstly had to make and design the puppets followed by designing a play and acting it out to the rest of the pack! We completed the Navigation 1 badge tonight with a map based treasure hunt in Stoke Lodge Parkland, a short local hike with a map and then some map drawing back at the hut.
It was perfect weather for a night hike from Ashton Court to the Hut.
For their first night back the Scouts had a cracking tour around Sainsbury’s and stuffed their faces with doughnuts, there were no complaints !
