A huge thankyou to the scouting families that joined us on The Downs on St George’s day. All of the scouts, cubs and beavers renewed their promise and then spent time litter picking.

The Cubs had an amazing time at District Cub Camp which took place at Woodhouse Park Activity Centre last weekend. After 15 months, the 43rd Cub Pack was finally back together in its entirety, as they had previously been running as a split pack. Despite Covid preventing Scouts from camping overnight together, the 43rd Bristol Cub Pack still managed to put on a fun hybrid camp for the cubs. The 43rd Bristol Cub Pack went on a nature trail through Blaise Castle estate, finishing off with a game of rounders and the presentation of some hard earned badges including a Chief Scout Silver award. Well done everyone, it’s great to be back together again exploring the outside!
We couldn’t take the cubs camping, but that didn’t stop the 43rd Cubs from having a great winter camp at home. The 43rd Cub Pack had a virtual martial arts extravaganza tonight as 2 of the older cubs led sessions on TaeKwondo and TangSudo.
