43rd Bristol Scout Community Centre takes shape

This week we reached another significant milestone in our community build project.

After a significant amount of ground-work preparation including demolition, piling, concrete pouring and below-ground block work the steels are now in place.

Not only did this require one very skilfully driven massive crane, the contractors worked through the 30 degree heatwave. Hats off to them.

The next stage will be brick laying to create the walls which should take around three weeks.

Following this we will be installing the wooden roof beams.

We remain extremely grateful to all our supporters, advocates, our local neighbours and wider community who continue to help us with fundraising and being so accommodating whilst the build progresses.
