Scout Christmas Tree Sale Delivers to the Community

A dry morning (unlike last year!), warm weather and with the smell of cooked bacon wafting across Stoke Bishop this was all set for a really successful Scout Christmas tree sale. For many people the event has become a great annual community tradition. As one local resident explained “Once I collect my tree from the Scouts, Christmas has begun.”

A big thank you to the over 200 local residents who set their alarm ad came to our Hut and supported the 43rd Bristol Scout Group. The whole event combined with our Cubbaccino cafe and raffle raised over £2000 towards our fundraising campaign to build a new Scout Community Centre in Stoke Bishop.

A very big thank you to all our volunteers who contributed their time and effort to make the event such a success.
