After 10 years of hard work the 43rd Bristol Scout Group is now on the final push to secure the remaining funds needed so they can build a modern, fit-for-purpose new Scout Community Centre. The new facility will be for the use of our Scout Group and the local community.
We have so far raised over 380K through the amazing support of a large number of grant funders, businesses, local organisations, community groups, individuals and volunteer members of the Group. We just need a little more before we can start the build in 2025.
Charles Elderton, Chair of the Group, said "We have launched our new 'Buy-a-Brick or something....' campaign as an easy way for as many supporters as possible to get involved with this community project. Donors will be invited to our opening ceremony and optionally be listed on our recognition wall. You can buy as many bricks as you want starting at only £25."
