Despite Storm Darragh causing a bit of trouble this weekend the 43rd Bristol Scout Group managed to run its annual tree sale, a day later than planned.
We are so grateful to the many local residents who waited an extra day to join us and buy their tree.
Not only did we also run a cafe selling hot drinks and bacon butties, we also ran a busy tombola stall.
This year we even had our very own brass band playing Christmas carols.
Thank you to all our volunteer helpers, including the Scouts, who did a marvellous job carrying and netting the trees.
Early indications show that the Group will have raised £3000 from the event. We are so very very grateful for everyone’s kindness and generosity. What wonderful community spirit.
