Some scouts from the 43rd attended the annual Scout District Camp, held this year in the Mendips. They met with Scouts from several other troops throughout Cabot district whilst enjoying SUPs (paddleboarding), Gorge Walking, Abseiling and Team Building activities. Some of the 43rd Bristol Scouts started to prepare for their upcoming expedition weekend by hiking, by themselves, from Leigh Woods back to the Scout Hut, followed by some practise cooking and learning how to pitch the new lightweight hiking tents.
