Well perhaps not literally but they had a great time fossil hunting in Aust. Finds included fish and reptile bones from the Triassic period (250million years ago), fossil shells from the Carboniferous period (300-360 million years ago) and sharks teeth ! As part of our virtual camp weekend, the Beavers had lots of fun taking part in wide games in the sun. Here are some photos of them playing Capture the Flag at Kings Weston Hill. And here they are competing in a Cross the River game at the Downs. No water involved!

The 43rd Bristol Cub Pack went on a nature trail through Blaise Castle estate, finishing off with a game of rounders and the presentation of some hard earned badges including a Chief Scout Silver award. Well done everyone, it’s great to be back together again exploring the outside!
