Funding Awarded to 43rd Bristol Scout Group

We are delighted to announce that the Group has been awarded £1610 to purchase new table and chair equipment for use now and in our new Scout Community Centre, when built.

Following a formal application process the money has been made available by the Transformers Young People's Small Grant Fund run by the Henleaze, Stoke Bishop and Westbury-on-Trym Neighbourhood Partnership.

Group Chairman, Charles Elderton, commented "We are extremely grateful to our local Neighbourhood Partnership. They have been truly supportive of our Group in recent years. They recognise the positive impact that Scouting has on young people and the wider community."

The Group is currently seeking to raise £400,000 to achieve its vision of a new Scout Community Centre. If  you think you can help, please contact chairman@43rdbristolscouts.org.uk
