This year we went somewhere different and had our camp at Glenny Wood Scout camp site, just south of Bristol. It was a lovely woodland setting which allowed the new leaders and cubs alike to go back to basics. The theme was Bear Grylls and the weekend was full of activities such as den building, pioneering, fire lighting, tracking, camp fires, backwoods cooking and wide games, along with adventure activities such the aerial runway and grass sledges.
The cubs all had a fantastic time, despite the torrential rain, thunder, lightening and gale force winds!!
Many thanks to all of the leaders and parent volunteers who were vital in pulling together another great cub camp.
