Our Scout Group Awarded Funding of £30,000

The 43rd Bristol Scout Group, based in Stoke Bishop, is delighted to announce it has been awarded £30,000 of funding through Bristol City Council’s Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) scheme.
Chair of the Group, Charles Elderton, commented,
“This award is a huge boost to our fundraising efforts. It motivates us even more to achieve our vision of building a new Scout Community Centre to replace our dilapidated and falling down wooden Hut. This project will benefit the next generation of young adults and be an asset of value and use to our local community.
On behalf of everyone involved in our Group I would like to thank our local Councillors and Bristol City Council for their support, encouragement and belief in what we are seeking to achieve.”
