It was wonderful to see so many volunteers, parents and community residents come along to our plant sale on Saturday 7 May. It felt like old times again catching up with friends and acquaintances. Even the sun came out to join us.
We had a huge array of different types of plants for sale and all were sold.
We also ran our monthly Cubbaccino cafe which did a roaring trade selling hot drinks and an array of delicious home-made cakes, scones and macaroons. Thank you to all our bakers!
Also a big thank you to all the Scouts who came along to help out too.
As always these events require a real team effort. You know who you are!
We raised over £1000 which is a fantastic amount of money which will be put towards our fundraising total needed to replace our Scout Hut.
We hope to repeat the event again next year so hopefully we’ll see you then.
