Fantastic Local Community Support for 43rd Bristol Scout Group

Freezing temperatures didn’t stop the local residents of Stoke Bishop and Sneyd Park coming out in full force on Saturday 10 December to buy their Christmas trees. We sold out!

This was the Group’s annual tree sale event to raise much needed funds to replace their old wooden hut with a modern Scout Community Centre.

Customers were able to choose from different sized non-drop Nordman Fir trees, enjoy a bacon butty and warm up with a hot drink. The tombola stall was busy, run by the Scouts.

We also had on show the design plans for our new Hut and we handed out our latest Fundraising Update newsletter.

Thanks to everyone who came along to support us and those who made additional donations. We were bowled over with your generosity.

Also, a massive thank you to all our volunteers who gave their valuable time to ensure the event was such a success. The Scouts were amazing, helping to net trees and carry them to cars. Thank you
