We are thrilled to announce the launch of a short video to help build awareness of our desperate need to raise funds to build a much needed new Scout Community Centre in Bristol.
With a completely dilapidated wooden hut it is essential we replace it with a new, fit-for purpose building that can accommodate our 91 scouts, cubs and beavers. We also want the new building to be used by local community groups who have no other place to meet.
As a group of volunteers we have so far secured a 35 year lease from Bristol City Council, have full planning permission and have raised over £250,000. We are now on the final push before we can start building works. However, we need a little bit more money in the pot.
