We are delighted to share the wonderful news that the 43rd Bristol Scout Group has been made a £7000 donation towards our fundraising for a new Scout Community Centre in Stoke Bishop, Bristol.
Group Scout Leader, Nicky Woodfield, said “Our Trustee Board, leaders and parent volunteers have worked tirelessly over many years to raise the funds needed to demolish our rotten, not-fit-for-purpose, wooden hut. This is such a generous donation by Motus Legal Recruitment and gets us so much closer to achieving our vision. This is a real boost and will make a huge difference.
A new Scout Community Centre will provide a warm and safe place for generations of young children to make friends, to learn essential skills for life and to make them good citizens. It will have such a positive impact on the local community too. Thank you Motus.”
Andrew Kelly, Director at Motus Legal Recruitment, said “I’ve visited the current scout hut. It’s amazing it’s still standing after 70+ years! As a business we are just pleased to be able to support such a great cause.”
