43rd Bristol Scouts welcomes local residents to its new Hall with a Community Cafe

We were delighted to see so many familiar faces and supporters come and join us at our new Scout Community Hall on Saturday 4 April.

It was a wonderful to launch our monthly community cafe once again following the demolition of our old wooden hut in early 2025.

Thank you to everyone who came along and for all the home-baked cakes and the donations made towards our on-going fundraising.

We were really delighted with the overwhelming positive feedback we received from so many of you about the new Hall.

We were also pleased to be joined by Councillor John Gouladris, Don Pritchard, Chair of Cabot District Scouts and Chris Gavriel, Cabot District Lead who have been supportive of us over many years.

We even had an unexpected visitor, Hamza, a Jordanian Scout leader and doctor who has recently moved to work in Cornwall. He dropped it to say hello and to build new friendships.

We look forward to seeing many of you again at our May cafe.
