Some scouts from the 43rd attended the annual Scout District Camp, held this year in the Mendips. The 43rd Bristol Scouts had another successful summer camp at Woodhouse Scout Activity Centre last weekend. The weekend started with an investiture, followed by a rainy hike around the local area but the rain soon cleared and the rest of the weekend was dry. The Scouts had a wonderful time camping at Woodhouse after a two year hiatus. There was lots to do but also lots of ‘chillaxing’ and even the rain didn’t dampen the Scouts’ spirits, they were brilliant. Big thanks to all our Scout Leaders, Occasional Helpers and parent helpers for making it all possible.
