A very big thank you for the £2632.85 cheque which we collected this morning from Stoke Bishop Co-op as part of The Big Co-op Payout. Our Scout Group was a nominated local charity as part of the Co-op’s Local Community Fund. We are very grateful.
Beavers quietly enjoying their home made curry and rice after working hard at their quiz beforehand. After eight recent investitures – all in uniform, looking very smart.
The cubs learnt all about healthy lifestyles and healthy eating last week – a big thank you to the parent helpers for volunteering and helping to keep the cubs excited and interesting in health – no easy task!
The cubs had another active evening playing bonfire games, making chocolate finger fireworks, apple bobbing, firework art as well as investing 7 new cubs and handing out over 80 badges – not sure how they managed to fit it all in, but a huge “Welcome” to the new cubs, a “Congratulations” for all the badges … Read more
