Realising it was probably not going to be possible to hold a traditional Christmas Tree sale in 2020, the 43rd Bristol Scout Group decided to launch it’s first ever ‘Click & Collect’ Christmas Tree ordering service.
The support of the local community in BS9 was incredible and we sold out of all 150 trees days beforehand. We would like to thank everyone who bought a tree and supported the Group with its fundraising.
We also ran a delivery service for those members of the community who were shielding, self-isolating or unable to collect their tree.
Some of our Committee members had hand-made festive bunting, Christmas cards, face masks and woollen hats which were sold on a market stall to those collecting their trees.
Thank you to all our volunteers who helped to make the event such an amazing success.
