The 43rd Bristol Scout Group held another very successful Christmas Tree sale on Saturday 9 December.
Despite heavy rain, our loyal and hardy local neighbours came out in force. The weather was not going to stop them buying their tree and to support the Group with its fundraising efforts. We are so very grateful for each and every purchase.
With over 200 visitors we all but sold out of trees with only 3 left at the end!
Customers were able to catch up with friends whilst enjoying a bacon butty and a hot drink. There was also a tombola and the opportunity to buy a hand-made wooden reindeer made by Jon, one of our Scout Leaders.
A big thank you to all our volunteer leaders, helpers, trustees and parents who played their part in making the event a huge success.
A big well done and thank you to all the Scouts who were amazing at netting the trees (and themselves!), carrying trees to cars and running the tombola stand. You were all brilliant.
We are immensely grateful to all those individuals who made donations to the Group on the day.
If you are able to make a donation and help us to reach our fundraising target needed to build a new Scout Community Centre, please visit https://www.totalgiving.co.uk/donate/43rd-bristol-st-mary-magdalene-stoke-bishop-scout-group
