The Scouts learnt how to use hammers, drills, screwdrivers and saws safely – it was a very noisy night. They also wired a plug and even repaired a couple of tables.

The Scouts had a cracking night hike from Blaise to the hut, just beating the snow. The hike went through the soon to be fenced Stoke Lodge – very sad to think this may not be possible in the future.
The 43rd Bristol Scout Group’s annual Christmas Tree Sale was held on Saturday 1 December. Gates opened at 8am and despite the heavy rain we welcomed over 200 local residents. A big thanks to We💚Stoke Lodge for organising and running our hellish Halloween fundraiser. We raised £400 for our new hut !!!
Josh’s Magic put on a crazy show for the Scouts. Afterwards, the Scouts did some of their own magic and we had a Scout forum which was very productive.
It was perfect weather for a night hike from Ashton Court to the Hut.
For their first night back the Scouts had a cracking tour around Sainsbury’s and stuffed their faces with doughnuts, there were no complaints !
