Another Major Donation for the 43rd Bristol Scout Hut Appeal
A huge thank you to The Rank Foundation – 43rd Bristol Scout Group has been awarded a grant of £3,500 from the Rank Foundation small grants scheme towards our new Scout Community Centre appeal.

Beavers Visit Portishead Lifeboat Station
The Beavers visited the RNLI in Portishead this week for a tour of the kit rooms, boat/tractor house and Slipway and were given a water safety talk too.

Beavers Explore Under Fall Yard
The beavers spent the evening touring the Bristol floating harbour under fall yard learning how the floating harbour works and what machinery is used to build and maintain the boats in the adjacent yard. Cub Campfire Cookout
The cubs had a great evening, learning about campfire safety, how to build and light fires as well as how to cook ‘dampers’ (bread twists) on sticks over the open fires. They are now ready to put their new found skills to the test at Cub Camp!
