The beavers were challenged to build a Lego bridge capable of carrying a toy car over 25cm’s. Cubs and Beavers both took part in Christmas activities this week, making yule logs, key rings and playing ‘the chocolate and scarf’ game. Cubs also said good bye to 2 of their senior cubs who are progressing to Scouts in the new year!

Our Scouting District organised the annual Junk Modelling Competition for Beavers on Friday 13th October. 4 beavers from Monday and Tuesday colonies took part and worked as a team against other colonies in the district to make their own monster model. Last week, Monday Beavers had a great time collecting leaves and twigs from outside and then making autumnal clay models.
The beavers spent the night creating finger prints and finding them on plastic panels using dusting brushes. Jenny an ex detective led the evening.
