A huge thankyou to the scouting families that joined us on The Downs on St George’s day. All of the scouts, cubs and beavers renewed their promise and then spent time litter picking.

Freezing temperatures didn’t stop the local residents of Stoke Bishop and Sneyd Park coming out in full force on Saturday 10 December to buy their Christmas trees. We sold out! Earlier this summer Avon County Scouts volunteers were honoured with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service 2022, the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK. Jubilee celebrations local to our Scout Hut got off to a fine start on Sunday 5th June, with the local residents of Kewstoke Road in Stoke Bishop, BS9 enjoying a wonderful street party together! We couldn’t take the cubs camping, but that didn’t stop the 43rd Cubs from having a great winter camp at home.
